Mode of cultivation: monolayer/suspension

Conditions for cultivation: medium -  BME on Earle’s solution - for monolayer cultivation;

BME on Earle’s solution with 10x NaH2PO4 without Ca+; 0.25% hemohydrolyzate;

2.0 g/l glucose; 0.15 g/l glutamine; 0.05% yeast extract; pH 7.2-7.5 - for suspension cultivation.

serum -   FBS 5%

subculture procedure - cells detach from flask using trypsin 0.25%:

EDTA  0.02% (1:9), split ratio 1:6-1:8.

cryoconservation - culture medium 45%, BS 45%, DMSO 10%, 2.0-3.0ơ106 cells/ml in ampule

Viability after cryoconservation:     78% (0 passage, dye trypan blue)

Sterility: tests for bacteria, fungi were negative

Species: karyological and isoenzymological (LDH, G6PD) analysis

Karyology:   2n= 38, modal number of chromosomes 54-60.

virus susceptibility: Gamboro; mink enteritis; swine diseases viruses.

Production of Gamboro; egg drop syndrom and mink enteritis viruses.
