Conditions for cultivation: medium - Mc Coy’s 5a

serum -   FBS 10%

subculture procedure - cells detach from flask using trypsin 0.25%:

EDTA  0.02% (1:1), split ratio 1:10

cryoconservation - growth medium, 5%DMSO, 1.0x106 cells/ml in ampule

Viability after cryoconservation:     94% (0 passage, dye trypan blue)

Sterility: tests for bacteria, fungi and mycoplasma were negative

Species: karyological, isoenzymological (LDH, G6PD)  and immunofluorescent analysis

Karyology:   2n= 22, variability in the range between 19-25 chromosomes,

modal number of chromosomes 22, pseudodiploid, a dicentric chromosome was observed in some cells.

Plating efficiency:    46% (SPBIC)

virus susceptibility: vesicular stomatitis (Indiana).
